wanted to try out the pastel on vellum idea for the month of october..........its quick its fun but i am not getting the results i anticipated..........ohwell..........learn something EVERYDAY whether you want to or not.

year long studio project

my year long one (at least) piece a day in the studio continues. for the month of september, i am cutting squares of vellum 5"X5" and then preparing them with gesso (black or white), collaging pre-melted plastic and then using pens to finish.

 a few are posted here and you you can see them all as they are posted on my FB PAGE throughout the month.

its about time

i have created a clock for the G-CAPP fundraiser "its about time"
my time piece...along with others will be previewed throughout atlanta galleries on
saturday august 21, 2010 for a gallery wide open house of the AGA.

year long studio project

August has been fun so far.....i have taken old paintings on paper and cut them into 5"X5" squares, added white or black gesso, in in watered down version, followed by pencil or china marker.

for the month of april i am composing a 4"X4" piece per day using brochures that i picked up in france.........and a stapler.
